Personal Style: Making The Best of Your Shift Dresses. (With Metrogypsie)

Hi Loves!

Hope your week is going well so far? I’m back to regular programming and back to school. I feel wayyy better – thanks to all who wished me well.

Here in Milan, the weather has been quite indecisive – one minute its cold and the next warm enough for you to take your jacket off for, so I believe this post is quite relevant if you’re going through that where you are at the moment. Slight layering, warm enough to keep you from the cold and light enough to not make you pass out from heat stroke.

But the main reason for this post is showing how you can wear your basic shift dress again. I simply wore a button-down under it and it looked like it was bought that way… You can accessorize with a pop of color shoe or a lot jewelry cos its a very simple(not basic) look.

(For some reason, my feet look really ashy in these photos. I promise, they weren’t)

Also, Stephanie of Metrogypsie happened to be wearing a shift dress this same day when she was in Milan but she accessorized hers with a sock… Socks + Pumps = Bomb!

Don’t trust when bloggers are laughing in a picture (Mine was genuine though)
